The 'Fast and Furious' scandal: Constitutional crisis looms over 'Fast and Furious' scandal
On Wednesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee
voted to hold Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.
It now goes to the full House of Representatives.
However, the President is now attempting to shield the Attorney
General by declaring 'executive privilege'.
Executive privilege is for the 'person' of the President
This would mean that the President was far more involved with the
gunrunning scandal than the committee had previously been led to
believe.
