Hippies=bullshit! Get Along=Bullshit also!

I just hopefully got most of the articles we lost back up when this site crashed and I lost about a week and a half worth of stories. Much of the articles lost were stories I pounded out and didn’t save. I have been seeing problems increase since we have been speaking out against the government’s anti-constitutional grab for our freedom. Maybe it is paranoia on my part, but I am no stranger to how those political thugs play if you rock their boat and threaten their supreme authority.
This brings me to how much apathetic complacency has increased in this country in the last 20 years, and the downright surrender of many of the people in this country. A person has to stand for something or they will fall for anything, and I can’t help but believe that most have fallen for enslavement of government and just don’t care anymore.
I was talking to a business associate of mine the other day and I was talking about the pending choices all of us are going to have to deal with when the government comes to your home and demands your guns. I quickly realized that he didn’t want to believe it could happen and he said as much when he said he doesn’t want it to get that bad and if it did he would remain neutral. As much as I hope the people will rise up and vote these socialists out of power, he proved to me that most people aren’t going to do anything. They most likely don’t vote, they don’t get involved in political debate, they keep a really low profile and go along to get along. Those are the people who will be on every side. Like the guy in the Clint Eastwood movie The Outlaw Joesy Wales who ferried people and horses across the river. He whistled Dixie and sang the hymn of the Republic with equal enthusiasm, and that is how many people in this country act now. Not until their funding is exhausted will they be forced to deal with losing what little they have, and then they might get involved, but by then it will be too late for them.
You won’t need the Second Amendment until the government tries to take it away. But when it is taken inch by inch most people won’t know the government has taken it until they tell you to turn in your guns. Then it is all over. So I am worried that most of the sheeple just don’t get how close they are to losing their freedom. Not just their Right to own a gun, I mean they are really close to losing all their Rights.
I have seen this country come close to civil war in the 60s and most of the kids today are taught it was the peace movement that changed the political atmosphere, but they are being told lies. It wasn’t the hippies who worried the Government, no… it was the Abby Hoffman’s, Black Panthers, SLA and the various other Rebels and Riots that were a weekly happening that changed the political atmosphere. Even back then the sheeple didn’t want to get involved and at first they went along to get along with the government, but once they seen their neighbors and children getting involved, the sheeple went along to get along with those speaking out against the government oppression. Ironically, now the government oppression is ten or twenty times worse but it is the hippie socialist who are doing the oppressing and are stealing the freedom right along side of the ones who were doing the oppressing back then. And the sheeple just keep going along to get along.
