No, we fought and died for independence from Britan not for the right of arms. The declaration of independence made no mention of guns. Ten years later we had the constitution and then it was a year and a half or somewhere in there that finally we had the bill of rights/amendments.

Lets not forget that Gorge W. Bush supported a much more comprehensive assault weapons ban during his tenure and he was soundly supported by the republican base. The NRA wants to say that cars kill people and what are we going to do, not drive..... So to drive we license vehicles, license drivers, pay taxes, and regester our cars each year and ourselves. If the NRA thinks of it like cars then we should have a little more regulation.

If the 20 kids in Newtown were fetuses in womens bellys you sure would be for regulating it then.

Now I am not for getting rid of guns but regulation, hell yeah. Every time we come upon a situation like this where there is a chance for diaulague the NRA right wants to dig heels in. There is a middle ground and if you can't see it then your blind.

As a gun owner I hope you enjoy your 47% increase in the likly hood of dying in a violent crime. You see us "liberals" call the cops and get to safety. You "right wingers" can fight is out and potentially catch a bullet. Now, if i was in a corner I would but if your not why have the chance.

And here's more. Right after the new town thing the NRA said it was not guns but violent video games and movies. Then 2-4 days later they come out with a shooting mobile phone video game Wow, for someone to name the "problem", and support the tool that is used to do it(gun) and then produce the material they say causes the tradegdes(the game), its just sick and again blind to not see it.

85% of the kid in the world that are killed by guns, are killed in the good ole USA.


Karl Fredrick was the NRA prez. back in 1934, he is quoted " I do not belive in the general promiscuous toting of guns. I think it should be sharply restricted and only under licenses. "
So what changed in 75 + years.

I'll tell you what changed. The guy who is leading the NRA and whoes pocket the NRA is in. The same gun companies that are glad to send their arms to fundamentalist who abduct and kill Americans, the same companies that sell to dictators and religious regimes that kill their own people when they protest for a voice in the government(kuwait, saudi arabia, BAHRAIN), those are the same companies paying the $800,000 a year to the NRA pres. He does not speak for you. The enemy of your enemy is not your friend, he is the bullet that will be in your head and government.


Lets not forget the second ammendmant says "WELL REGULATED" why do you leave that out.

And finally if you have followed/read this far. What part of any of obamas executive orders do you not approve of. What part "taked your gun away". Have you even read any of it. It's pretty bland and not that much of anything. Most of is is suggestions to congress. You know, congress, the way the founders set it up. The ones you treat like gods..... their not.
